RoadTrip#1 – Cascina Bric

First Stop: Cascina Bric

Andrea Zigrossi and Gilbert Bages have finally started with their RoadTrip#1, their sparkling journey of over 2000 km to discover the new Italian winemaking realities.

The first stop was in Piedmont, in the municipality of Moncucco Torinese, in the splendid landscapes of Monferrato at Cascina Bric. “It was a while since I wanted to visit Cascina Bric– Andrea told us by phone – it’s one of the most interesting young winery in Italy” we easily understand why: three young sisters, all under 30, who run the family company with an eye to the past but projected into the future.

Francesca is a winemaker, with the help of Chiara and Silvia are bringing a breath of fresh air and a smart approach both in the vineyard and in the cellar.

We have been pleasantly surprised by this winery– continues Andrea –me and Gilbert loved their wines, they are true expressions of a territory and with an incredibly good value for money!”

Three wines best represent the winery: “Bric” Bonarda DOC, “Vales” Barbera DOC Superior and “Ruchin” Freisa DOC Superior, this last one is a native wine of the Monferrato worked to perfection!

“We had a great time at Cascina Bric, we hope that this little reality will find the success it deserves!”

The journey of the “Wineduo” continues, follow them on the Social and on Kaataa!

Next stop: Grosjean Winery– Aosta Valley. STAY TUNED!
