Andrea Zigrossi and his crew are ready to take us on a tour to discover the best Tuscan wineries
Just over a year has passed since the last time we talked to you about Wine Holidays, the incredible event created by Andrea Zigrossi, better known as Trotterwine, the well-known sommelier who has distinguished himself over the years for his digital communication funny and very effective.
Last year the event that would have taken place in France, precisely in Narbonne, was canceled due to the pandemic that has overwhelmed us all. Today as it appears in the last few hours on various social networks, the event seems to have become reality, in a different location and with new guests, but let’s take a step back: what do Wine Holidays consist of?
The project was born as a group trip lasting several days, exploring the best wineries of the chosen location with international guests from the world of wine: journalists, influencers, bloggers and content creators.
“This new edition of the Wine Holidays will take place in the heart of Tuscany, in the beloved Chianti Classico area“
This new edition of the Wine Holidays will take place in the heart of Tuscany, the beloved Chianti Classico area, which will see the incredible land of Vagliagli and its wineries as the protagonist. Among the wineries there will be Bindi Sergardi, Borgo Scopeto, Dievole, Monaciano, Vallepicciola, Fattoria della Aiola, Scheggiolla, Oliviera, Cantalici, Castagno and Valiano. Incredible realities that we first of all can’t wait to discover through this project.
In addition to the wineries, the names of the guests have also been revealed today: some we already know, confirmed since last year: Paolo Nenci, the first digital farmer in Italy, with Gilbert Bages also known as Drinkinmoderation and Stephanie Hoeni known as Cheshirevisual, two talented Spanish photographers from the world of wine.
But there will also be some new faces: the first name that stands out is that of Cosmin Tudoran, well-known ambassador of wine in Romania and former judge of Masterchef. India Donisi known as winespicegirl, the spicy wine influencer based in the Netherlands.ย Davide Dellago known as wine.davide, Best Sommelier of Switzerland 2018.ย Camilla Beretta and Mattia Krug close the group: Italian content creators and sommeliers.
Undoubtedly a group full of great characters that will leave all of us wine lovers glued to the phone in those days. We just have to wait until June 24 and see what happens.
